There’s something about a well-built everyday carry that says a lot about how you move through the world.

Not in a loud way.Not in a flashy way.

But in a quiet, intentional way.

Spring 2026 has been about refinement for me — carrying what I actually use, keeping things practical, and building a setup that supports both work and lifestyle without excess.

This is what I’m carrying right now.

The Foundation — The Bag

Everything starts with the bag.

Right now, I’m running a leather duffel from Amazon as my main carry. It’s large enough to handle everything I need for a full day — whether that’s training, a trip into the city, or a long creative session — but still clean and understated. This duffel bag is roughly $220 on Amazon. It includes a front pocket closed by two buckles, and has a zip up side pocket for shoes or other small items, along with two zip up pockets (one on each side of the front pocket), along with a large main area with more pockets and organizational areas inside.

Leather is the key here.

It ages with you.It tells a story over time.

The more you use it, the better it looks — and that aligns perfectly with how I approach most things in life.

This bag isn’t just storage. It’s the hub.

Audio — Control Your Environment

Audio is easily the most flexible part of my everyday carry.

I rotate between three main options depending on what the day looks like:

  • Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones- These are my go-to when I need focus. Whether I’m traveling, studying, or just blocking out noise — this is the move. Bose still leads in noise cancellation, and these deliver. The battery life and comfort are both rock solid, and I can wear these headphones for hours with no issues. They're available in Black, Desert Gold, Driftwood Sand, Midnight Violet, and White.

  • AirPods Pro (in the Ornarto leather case)- Quick, seamless, and always ready. These are what I grab when I’m moving around — errands, walking, short trips, the gym, etc. Convenience wins here. These are $299 CAD on Amazon at time of publishing.

  • JBL Tune 310C USB-C wired earbuds- The underrated option. No battery, no connection issues — just plug in and go. Old-school reliability still matters. Plus these are extremely affordable at $29.99 CAD on Amazon. I store them in this leather drawstring pouch.

Between these three, I’m covered in every situation.

Portable Speakers — Bring the Atmosphere With You

I’m big on having music around — it changes the entire feel of a moment.

Depending on the situation, I rotate between:

  • Bose SoundLink Plus — my main speaker with strong sound, battery life, and reliability. It'll run you $349 CAD on Amazon.

  • Sonos Roam 2 — smaller, travel-friendly, while still having premium build quality as well as top notch sound quality.

  • Bose SoundLink Flex — ultra-portable and easy to throw in a bag.

  • It’s less about the device and more about the atmosphere.

  • I keep it in this protective case, which has saved it from damage a few times.

  • Wherever I go — the environment comes with me.

  • I have this speaker in a limited edition red colour, which is no longer available.

Core Devices — The Daily System

This is the core of everything — the devices I actually rely on throughout the day.

iPhone 16 Pro Max

Apple Watch Ultra 2

  • Paired with a brown leather band, it shifts from sporty to classic instantly.

  • I use it constantly — notifications, timers, fitness and sleep tracking — all the small things that add up over a full day.

  • Leather Band Link- https://a.co/d/06nO9iKU

Google Pixel 9 Pro XL:

  • Running iOS and Android side-by-side gives me the best of both worlds.

  • It’s less about necessity and more about perspective — understanding both ecosystems and how they approach everyday use.

Google Pixel 7a:

  • This one stays in the bag as insurance.

  • And it’s already proven itself — including as part of a live-streamed wedding setup I ran last summer, it became the fallback camera when things started failing.

  • That alone justified carrying it.

iPad Pro 13-inch M4

  • This is the mobile studio.

  • Editing, planning, content consumption — it handles all of it.

  • At this point, it’s less of a tablet and more of a creative workstation that fits in a bag.

  • I have the 256 GB Space Grey configuration, and it lives in this Leather Folio case.

  • iPad Pro Link (M5 Version)- https://a.co/d/01dWx7JR

  • Case Link- https://a.co/d/09AbFKHp

  • Apple Pencil Pro Link- https://a.co/d/0jlHgx20

Power & Accessories — The Unseen Essentials

  • This is the least exciting part visually — but the most important when things go wrong.

  • Portable chargers.Cables.Adapters.

  • This is what keeps everything alive.

  • And if you carry this properly, you’re never stuck.

  • uGreen Multiport Power Adaptor- https://a.co/d/00EubIew

32,800 mAh Rugged Power Bank:

Anker USB C to C Cables-https://a.co/d/07lF7022

  • I've used these cables consistently for 3 years, and they've never failed me.

  • Anker makes a ton of great stuff, and is absolutely another company I highly recommend.

The One Cable That Still Matters

There’s one item I refuse to remove from my setup:

A USB-A to Micro-USB cable.

Outdated?Yes.

Useless?Not even close.

A little while ago, a friend of mine needed to charge his headphones — and nobody had the right cable. Except me.

That’s the thing about EDC — it’s not just about what’s current. It’s about what’s useful.

Final Thoughts — Carry With Intention

This setup isn’t about carrying more.

It’s about carrying better.

A balance of:

  • Tech that supports your work

  • Audio that shapes your environment

  • Practical tools that quietly solve problems

Nothing here is random. Everything has a purpose.

And over time, that’s what an everyday carry becomes:

Not just a collection of items —but a system that reflects how you live.

If you’re building your own EDC, start simple.

Refine it over time.

Keep what earns its place, and let the rest go.

As it is written.

— Jordan.
